SKY AIR specializes in Overhaul, Shock Load and repair of Lycoming and Continental engines. We also offer a range of maintenance services as overhaul and repair of magnetos (500 hours inspections included), cylinders and carburetors.

We have equipment that allow us to make Overhaul, Repair or Shock Load Inspection), two test benches, that allow us to realize the “break-in” of the engines (DYNAMOMETER & PROPELLER BENCH).

CHEMICAL CLEANING

After disassembly, all engines are degreased (on a vapor phase degreaser), decarbonized and the paint is removed by immersion in a chemical bath. Our Chemical booth is designed to receive any engine part, from the smallest engine, the Continental A-65 to the biggest Lycoming IO-720.

MECHANICAL CLEANING

The mechanical cleaning equipment has been designed for the full range of engines we service, which if necessary will be cleaned in “Plastic Media” cabins in the case of Crankcases, Oil Sump, to avoid clogging the lubrication channels or “Glass Bead” for the internal components.

PAINT BOOTH

Our paint booth, works with an air curtain system, with appropriate filters to prevent environmental contamination.
